1. Black Forest Cake Recipe

Ingredients

50 gms Milk Chocolate

1 tsp Baking Powder

1¾ cup (175 gms)Maida (All-purpose Flour)

1 tin (small) Cherries

2 tsp Icing Sugar/Powdered Sugar

1 tsp Vanilla Essence

100 gms Butter

3-4 tbsp (25gms)Cocoa Powder

1 tin Nestlé MILKMAID

200 gms Fresh Cream

1 tsp Soda Bicarbonate

200 ml Aerated Soda

Recipe

1. Dust an 8″ baking pan with flour after greasing it with butter or oil. Preheat an oven to 180° C.
2. Sieve together cocoa powder, maida, baking powder, and baking soda.
3. When butter is softened, add it to MILKMAID and beat well. Add the vanilla essence now.
4. Until all of the maida and soda have been added, alternately add the aerated soda and maida combination to the batter.
5. Pour the batter into the baking pan and bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Take out of the oven when a toothpick placed in the centre of the cake comes out clean, and let cool.
6. Knife out the sides of the cake carefully. Let it cool a bit, and then cut it into two horizontal pieces.

2. Almond Cake with Lemon Icing

This cake recipe carries the goodness and richness of almonds that will also give a distinct crunch to your dessert. The tangy flavor of lemons is a bonus to this amazing contemporary recipe.

Ingredients

For the Cake-

1 tsp Vanilla Essence

100 gms Almonds, ground (Almond Flour)

100 gms Butter

3 Eggs

1 cup Nestlé a+ Nourish Dahi

1½ tsp Baking Powder

1/2 tin Nestlé MILKMAID

100 gms Maida (All-purpose Flour)

For Lemon Icing-

2 tbsp Almond Flakes

2 tbsp Lime Juice

1/2 cup Fresh Cream

1/4 tin Nestlé MILKMAID

Recipe

Cake-

1. Preheat the oven to 180⁰ C. In the meanwhile, grease your cake pan and dust it with flour.
2. Sieve some almond flour, maida and baking powder. Keep aside.
3. Combine Nestlé MILKMAID and softened butter really well in a bowl until you see a creamy texture.
4. Mix with vanilla essence.
5. Beat in each egg one at a time, then fold in the sieved maida mixture and thoroughly combine. To achieve a dropping consistency, add Dahi and combine.
6. Pour the prepared batter into the cake pan and bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or till a toothpick comes out clean.
7. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a while.

For the lemon icing-

8. Add Nestlé MILKMAID, cream and lime juice to a bowl. This should be well-beaten until thick.
9. Lastly, top it with some almond flakes.
